Dutch director to hold workshops during Iranian theater festival

TEHRAN -- Dutch stage director and playwright Judith Nab will hold workshops during 12th International Students Theater Festival in Tehran.
She will perform her “Nightshot” which is a six-minute installation for one person and also she will hold a three-day workshop entitled “Meeting Unknown Counterpart” during the festival.
The festival will be held from April 25 to May 2.
U.S. festivals to screen “Flags of Kaveh’s Castle”
TEHRAN -- Iranian film “Flags of Kaveh’s Castle” by Mohammad Nurizad will go on display in two American festivals in early May.
It will go on screen at the Noor Film Festival in California which will be held from May 1 to 3 in California and also New York’s Buffalo Niagara Film Festival from May 1 to 10.
“Flags of Kaveh’s Castle” centers on the Quran, Imam Reza (AS) and the Iranian nation’s beliefs as Shiite Muslims.
Aleppo hosting Iran’s cultural week
TEHRAN -- Iran’s cultural week is currently underway in Aleppo and will continue until April 24.
Book fair, handicraft exhibition and a selection of paintings created by Iranian artists is currently on display during the event which is held by Iran’s cultural attaché in Damascus.
Iranian films “Red Robin” by Parviz Sheikhtadi, “Green Ashes” by Ebrahim Hatamikia and “The Sun Shines on All” by Abbas Rafei are screening at the festival..
